Volunteers please! If anyone could help take Bob Bradshaw to and from dialysis or perhaps just take him to dialysis in the Riverside area, please contact Missy Bradshaw at 747-2663. Gas and/or possibly one of the Bradshaw vehicles can be used. Bob needs to go to dialysis on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you can help at all, please call Missy. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
There will be a meeting of the Finance Committee, Parish Council and Fr. Larry on Thursday, June 12th, 7:00 P.M. at our Church.
Don't forget to submit your name to either Fr. Larry or Ed Kise if you would like to fill one of the four seats available on the Parish Council. Please do so by June 15th! Many blessings for your consideration!
The next Parish Council meeting will be held after Mass on June 22nd at which time new Council seats will be reviewed.
Please remember those in need by placing food donations in the basket at the Church entrance for the Caring Kitchen. Any monetary contributions you may have for the St. Vincent de Paul Guild may be placed in the designated basket also in the front . Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

“Baby Bottle Boomerang”
Women’s Network - a Family & Youth Initiatives’ Pro-Life Program - invites you to take a special baby bottle home with you, fill it with your spare change, cash, or check and then return it two weeks later. The money raised will go directly to families in our community. Family & Youth Initiatives oversees the Real Life and STARS program for healthy and moral life choices in the Mechanicsburg and Triad schools. Lewisburg United Methodist Church Community Dinner
The next Community
Dinner will be Saturday, June 21st, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Contributions will benefit the Restoration Fund. The menu includes
scalloped chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied carrots and succotash,
salad, applesauce, roll, beverage and a homemade dessert. Carry out available.
PETER’S PENCE COLLECTION THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 28-29, 2008
The Peter’s Pence Collection provides the Holy Father with the financial means to respond with emergency assistance to those who are suffering as a result of war, oppression, natural disaster, and disease. This collection was started centuries ago to provide financial support for the Pope and has evolved to fund the Holy See’s charitable actions for those in need. This collection is to be taken the weekend of June 28-29, 2008. According to Archdiocesan law, this is one of the four designated collections where the entire offertory collection is sent to the Chancery for forwarding for the designated purpose. Please send the proceeds from the collection to the Finance Office of the Archdiocese in the week following the collection. Thank you.
